I felt that the bikini top needed to be shown off because even tho there are a bunch of things I want to fix up on it, I'm still really happy with how it turned out!
I was lucky to find this fabric in one of my many fabric storage boxes and found out it had almost the same weave as Rikku's!! The orange trim is painted on with acrylic and the buckles/black strap are the same from the old bikini. The pictures were taken when the back strap was just pinned on and the orange tie wasn't properly laced/trimmed as it was for Otakon XD but yay! I love it still!
Now to revamp the rest XD (soon a new wig/new belt pouches/skirt/sleeves/boots) >< OH YEAH...and blades...*CRY*

Really, though, that's a really good job-the fact that you actually used fabric that looks like the 'real thing' is just the kind of minor detail that sets apart the the random half-ass cosplayers from the really great ones
